HOW YOU CAN HELP UNION GOSPEL MISSION NOW

Your gifts have the power to change bleak to bright.

Christmas

If you’d like to spread holiday cheer this Christmas, UGM would love to have you. Here’s how you can help:
  • Place your donation in the church’s offering plate, or leave in the church office.
You may use cash (place in an envelope labeled for UGM) or a check made payable to FBC Missions (UGM) or directly to UGM. You may also purchase gift cards. ($5 to $25 denominations) to grocery stores, department stores, coffee shops, movie theaters, book stores, etc. Please also place these in an envelope labeled for UGM.
  • Shop for The Mission’s top needs.
PJs (please remember the teenage boys), robes and fuzzy slipper socks for women (Small to XXXL) and children.                     For men please consider purchasing underwear, t-shirts, and white athletic socks.
  • “Christmas Morning in a Bag” (Men’s Shelter only).
Please use a ziplock bag so items are visible.  Use your creativity; typical items to include: a chocolate treat, razor, toothbrush, gloves, socks, chapstick, McDonald’s or WalMart gift cards, etc.  You may also add a personal note of encouragement!

(All items must be at the church by December 13th for delivery to UGM.)
THANK YOU for your donations!! Our collective items have been delivered to UGM.
HOWEVER, UGM is still accepting donations, if you would like to personally deliver your items.
  • Volunteer.
You can sign up to serve at UGM’s Christmas Eve Dinner at the Trent facility beginning Tuesday, Dec. 1 (call 509-535-8510) or call the specific shelter where you would like to volunteer for additional opportunities.

If you have questions, or would like more information, please call Freda Miller at 509-397-3121 or email fredalmiller@gmail.com.
