Tyler Strickler
Head Pastor
Pastor Tyler was born and raised in Hunters, Washington. He grew up in a solid Christian home and received Christ as Savior at a young age. After high school, he attended Moody Bible Institute, where he majored in Biblical Studies. In August of 2009, he enrolled in Baptist Bible Seminary, where he completed his M.Div. Following seminary, he served as a pastor in Ontario, Canada for eight years, serving the church his wife grew up in.
Tyler’s passion in ministry is preaching God’s word and equipping God’s people for effective ministry. He is an avid reader who loves church history in general and Baptist history in particular.
He and Salome met at Moody Bible Institute and were married in August of 2008. They are the proud parents of four sons, Ben, Titus, Calvin, and Theo. Outside of church, he enjoys spending time with his family, doing woodwork, and watching football. In July of 2021 Tyler and Salome moved to Colfax to begin their ministry at Colfax First Baptist.

Evan Craciun
Associate Pastor
Pastor Evan was born and raised in the Inland Northwest. Growing up in Spokane, he attended Valley Fourth Church, where he learned the value of Biblical preaching and faithful church service. At a young age he repented of his sins and trusted Christ for salvation. After graduating from Valley Christian School, He attended the Moody Bible Institute where he graduated with a Biblical Studies degree with a youth ministry emphasis in 2025. While there, he married Suzanna in June of 2024.
Evan is passionate about making disciples who grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, especially in the young people of our church. He also loves learning about and creating theologically rich and melodically beautiful music for the church. Outside of church, he enjoys sports, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his family. The Craciuns moved to Colfax to begin their ministry at the church in December 2025.

Jenny Woods
Office Administrator
Jenny and her husband Paul moved to Colfax from the Westside in 2021. Paul's family has roots in the area and they were anxious to leave the city hustle and bustle for the peaceful rolling hills of the Palouse. Jenny attended Capernwray Bible School in England for one year before getting a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Seattle Pacific University. She then went on to teach kindergarten in the Lake Washington School District. Jenny and Paul have 3 grown sons, Dylan, Evan and Aidan.
